James Earl Jones returns to the live action remake of the Lion king

All aboard the feels train! Destination childhood! 

James Earl Jones is going to bring back the OG daddy lion vocals, reprising his role as Mufasa in the live action remake of The Lion King.The original film was released in 1994 and became an instant classic, bringing tears and joy to #90sKids all over the world.

The director for the throwback-to-childhood movie, Jon Favreau, tweeted that he is looking forward to working with the legend.

As well as that, Donald Glover AKA Childish Gambino has taken on the future king's role, voicing Simba.

The upcoming Lion King is just another Disney film to be given the 'real-life treatment' following Beauty and the Beast and The Jungle Book, the latter which Faverau directed and received critical and commercial acclaim.

Oh we just can't wait for the next Lion King!
