If you've ever been to America then you'll know that Taco Bell is a Mexican gift from God.

And finally lil ol' New Zealand could be getting it's very own Taco Bell store.

Kiwi fast-food giant Restaurant Brands took over Taco Bell and Pizza Hut in Hawaii last year and has now hinted that the Mexican fast food chain could be hitting our soil.

Speaking to Radio New Zealand, the chief executive of Restaurant Brands, Russel Creedy, said a trial Taco Bell store was possible in the new year after the success of the one Taco Bell in Australia.

However, he did say that market research would need to be done first, but we're confident that the research will show that Kiwis want the chain here!
