If you're a fan of Hamilton: The Musical, you'll love the new film 'In The Heights' which is out now

Based on Hamilton star Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Broadway musical, In The Heights officially has officially hit cinemas after being delayed because of Covid-19.

Directed by Jon M. Chu – who also directed Crazy Rich Asians – In The Heights is stars the likes of Anthony Ramos (Hamilton), Stephanie Beatriz (Brooklyn 99), Melissa Barrera, and even features a special cameo by the Tony-winning stage show's original star Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The musical tells the story of a Latino community living in New York City's Washington Heights block and Usnavi - played by Ramos - a young bodega (which is sort of like a corner dairy) owner who dreams of a better life and returning to his homeland the Dominican Republic. 

Since it's release, critical reception of the film has been extremely positive with many calling it even better than the phenomenon that is Hamilton.
