Grey's Anatomy has officially been renewed for Season 18

It's official! We'll be seeing more of Dr Meredith Grey as the world's longest-running medical drama has been renewed for Season 18. 

The show's executive producer Ellen Pompeo, who also plays Dr Grey, has penned a new deal with ABC Entertainment, and it's safe to say it'll be worth a pretty penny. 

Season 17 of the legendary show has seen the team tackle the coronavirus pandemic, showcasing real-world situations, with the standard 'Grey's cliff-hanger' which we really, really love to hate. 

Pompeo's 2020 salary of a cool $30 million NZD, made her the highest-paid actress in a TV drama series, not to mention the added bonuses. 

Grey's Anatomy is available to stream on Disney+, NEON and TVNZ OnDemand.
