Could This Be The Reason Instagram Changed Their Logo?

So Instagram may just have been doing the sneaky on us when they changed their logo.Â
Think back to around about a month ago when everyone was in uproar over Instagram’s decision to soon launch customised feeds using an algorithm. Rather than posts showing up in a chronological list, Instagram revealed it was introducing a algorithm that will sort posts based on "the likelihood you'll be interested in the content, your relationship with the person posting, and the timeliness of the post"
But as the change didn't happen then and there the noise eventually died down, and everyone seemed to forget about it. And now just a couple of weeks ago, Instagram changed their logo to something that looked straight out of a Powerpoint presentation, and we were so distracted we didn't notice that the algorithm had came into effect.
Yep. Your Instagram feed is now based on an algorithm.
Now that it's all changed, here's how you can make sure you’re seeing what you want to be seeing:
- By consistently interacting (liking and commenting) with family and friends’ posts
- Turn on post notifications (you know, everyone was begging you to do when Instagram first made the announcement)
