A Photo of This Woman's Boob Could Save Your Life

Lisa Royle, who underwent a mastectomy this week, posted a photo of her breast online before she went in for surgery to encourage others to get checked.

She said on her Facebook page: “Ok so I never thought I’d post a boob picture on Facebook but I thought I would before it gets chopped off next week,” 

“So here it is….. This all that I found on my boob. Very subtle dimples underneath that could easily be missed when we’re all rushing round getting ready in a morning.

“Please take time to look at your boobs. It could save you’re [sic] life.”

Lisa is recovering from surgery currently, with husband Craig saying that she is in good spirits and that the support has blown both of them away.

He wrote, “This will make people more aware of the slightest change and each and every one of you deserved credit so thank you."
