11-Year-Old Writes Letter to Santa Begging Him to Cure Her Mother

11-year-old Bobbie-Mae Chalk didn't ask for any toys this Christmas.Â
She just wants one thing. One truly important present. She wants a cure for her mother’s illness.
Her mother, Debby Chalk, 31, suffers with Crohn’s disease, a form of inflammatory bowel disease.
In an interview with Metro.co.uk, Debby says: ‘I have had Crohn’s since 2006, and have been having a lot of issues for the past two years with medications and keeping it under control.’

Debby was extremely emotional when she discovered the letter.
She says: ‘I welled up and couldn’t believe it, makes me so proud to be her mum.’
