Erin Lamkin, a Melbourne waitress, appeared on Millionaire Hot Seat with Eddie McGuire on Monday night and ended up winning a quarter-of-a-million dollars.

All by guessing the questions. She literally took a stab in the dark and got all 8 questions she was asked right! 

The questions covered everything from jazz music and African exports to cricket and Calvin Harris, with each one apparently stumping contestant Erin.

She said these phrases a lot: 'To be honest I don't know the answer,' and 'I'm going to take a stab in the dark' and Eddie even chimed in with 'You have no idea about this, have you?'
