Sophie Ellis-Bextor joined Fletch, Vaughan & Hayley to talk about the global comeback of her hit Murder on the Dancefloor after its viral appearance in Saltburn, and revealed she’s planning a visit to New Zealand soon.

During the interview, Sophie shared how the viral resurgence of Murder on the Dancefloor after its appearance in Saltburn introduced her music to a whole new generation of listeners. She also spoke about her cat Don Draper and laughed with the team as they suggested she visit Hamilton Gardens while touring New Zealand.

The song Murder on the Dancefloor originally released in 2001 returned to international charts in 2024 after featuring in the closing scene of Saltburn, sparking a global streaming revival.
