Abu Dhabi Police Spend 2 Million On Fast And Furious Car

Woah. Imagine being chased down by this! 

In Fast and Furious 7, a Lykan Hypersport leaps from one Dubai skyscraper into another in one of the hit film’s biggest set-piece stunts.

Now police Abu Dhabi have given into temptation and have purchased one of the £2.16 million vehicles for themselves.

The car can do up to 240mph, and go from 0-60 in 2.8 seconds and is also equipped with a largely unnecessary siren.

A spokesman for the manufacturer said, ‘Abu Dhabi Police took delivery of their Special Edition Lykan HyperSport on Monday.'
Police spokesman Brig Hussain Al Harthi, director of central operations, confirmed: ‘We brought it into the country last week for pilot-testing.'
