3/22 Kristoff. The courageous Kristoff is Frozen's leading man, accompanying Princess Anna on her quest to find her sister. Perhaps this is down to Hugh Jackman's popular X-Men character Wolverine, whose real name is Logan. Edith continues to benefit from the trend this year, seeing a modest increase in popularity. An English name, it's derived from the Old English Ead meaning "wealth" and "fortune" and gar meaning "spear".

18/22 Cora. Another vintage name, Cora has also increased in popularity in 2014. Perhaps the Downton Abbey character of the same name has influenced parents with her sweet personality? The name originates in Greek from the word kor meaning "maiden".
