INTIMATE & EXCLUSIVE SHOW AT AUCKLAND TOWN HALL CONFIRMED!

Frontier Touring has confirmed that the Foo Fighters will play a last minute intimate and exclusive benefit show at the Auckland Town Hall this Friday 20th February!

In March 2011, Foo Fighters played an epic one-off three hour benefit concert to a sell-out crowd at the Auckland Town Hall to help raise funds for the Christchurch Earthquake recovery. Later that year Dave Grohl promised: "You have my word that the next time we come back to this city, we'll play that Town Hall again.” As every Foo Fighters fan knows, Dave is a man of his word.

This Friday's Town Hall concert will also benefit charity with all profits going to the New Zealand Music Foundation. The New Zealand Music Foundation is a unique charity with a twin kaupapa. It changes the lives of those in need across the country by supporting music-based projects at youth organisations, hospices, schools, hospitals, rehabilitation centres and more. It also provides emergency assistance to those in the music community who find themselves experiencing illness, distress and hardship. You can find more information about their work at their website: www.nzmusicfoundation.org.nz.

Tickets for this intimate Foo Fighters show are going on sale from Ticketmaster at 12.00pm NZDT tomorrow (Thursday 19th February) and are tipped to sell out fast.

This concert is for the fans so in a measure to deter scalping, Frontier Touring ask fans to please note the following:

There is a strict limit of two (2) tickets per customer. Any customer found to have purchased more than two (2) tickets per show will have their additional transactions cancelled. Any customer that resells this ticket at a premium (i.e. an inflated price); resells this ticket through a broker or agent; advertises or offers this ticket for resale including on the internet; or uses this ticket for advertising, promotion or other commercial purpose (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, without the prior written permission of the promoter will have their transaction cancelled.

These conditions are in addition to the ticketing agency’s existing Terms Of Sale agreed upon by the purchaser at the time of their transaction.

All patrons who are successful in purchasing tickets will then need to collect their wrist bands on the day of the show. Wristbands will be available for collection from 10.00am to 7.00pm from pop up ticketing outlets in Aotea Square. Credit card holders MUST arrive with their guest (if an additional ticket has been purchased) to collect their wristbands and tickets together. They cannot be picked up separately. Anyone not collecting their wristbands and tickets during the stipulated times will not gain entry to the event.

Wristbands are strictly non-transferable and must not be tampered with. If a wristband is considered to be tampered with, the patron will be refused entry.

Wristbands must be collected and personally signed for by the credit card holder who is the only person authorised to collect. For identification purposes the credit card holder must also present the credit card used when purchasing the tickets, and the account confirmation number as well as valid Photo ID.

This is an all ages event.
