AUCKLAND: Movies in Parks 2023

Auckland Council and ZM are stoked to announce the return of Movies in Parks this summer - and we can’t wait!

How good does an outdoor movie on a warm summer evening sound!?

The return of Auckland Council’s FREE Movies in Parks series will delight family cinema fans across the region. Pack a picnic or pick up a bite from one of the food stalls – and come early for the pre-movie entertainment.

The Movies in Parks programme starts 27 January, continuing through summer to finish on 31 March.

Movies include Minions: the Rise of Gru, Top Gun: Maverick, Lightyear and more. All movies have closed captions meaning those who are Deaf or hard of hearing can enjoy them as well – amazing! 

27 Jan - Randwick Park, Manurewa - Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank

28 Jan - Fergusson Domain, Onehunga - Minions: Rise of the Gru

3 Feb - Lucken Reserve, West Harbour - Minions: Rise of the Gru

4 Feb - David Lange Park, Mangere - Hotel Transylvania: Transformania

10 Feb - Windmall Park, Epsom - The Greatest Showman

11 Feb - Lloyd Elsmore Park, Pakuranga - Minions: Rise of the Gru

17 Feb - Monte Cecilia Park, Hillsborough - Finding Nemo

18 Feb - Murphy Park, Otahuhu - Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

24 Feb - Harvey Wright, Birkenhead - Light Year

25 Feb - Central Park, Papakura - DC League of Super Pets

3 March - Coyle Park, Pt Chev - Boy

10 March - Hayman Park, Manukau - Light Year

11 March - Rosedale Park, Rosedale - Top Gun Maverick
