Space Jam 2 Starring Lebron James Is Officially Happening

The Tune Squad is back!

It's finally happening we're getting a sequel to Space Jam starring non other than Lebron James.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Justin Lin, of Fast & Furious fame, is in talks to direct Warner Bros.' sequel with Andrew Dodge in line to write the script.

A 'Space Jam 2' has been in the works for a long time and apparently picked up a little bit of steam when James' SpringHill Entertainment company signed a deal with Warner Bros' in July 2015.

The original was made all the way back in 1996 with Michael Jordan and it was a box office smash grossing over $230 million dollars worldwide.

While there have been rumours of a sequel streching back to the mid-00s when Kobe Bryant was in his prime, this one looks like it's a full goer.
