You know you've made it when massive Hollywood actors are praising your work. That's exactly what director Taika Waititi is experiencing after his latest NZ film 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' is getting praise from all angles.

The film follows Ricky - a kid who was raised on hip-hop and foster care - who gets a fresh start in the New Zealand countryside.  He quickly finds himself at home with his new foster family: the loving Aunt Bella, the cantankerous Uncle Hec, and dog Tupac. When a tragedy strikes that threatens to ship Ricky to another home, both he and Hec go on the run in the bush. As a national manhunt ensues, the newly branded outlaws must face their options: go out in a blaze of glory or overcome their differences and survive as a family.

The film is great and it sounds like Ryan Reynolds is completely on board as he praised the movie on Facebook and Instagram:

Ryan's not the only A-Lister to give the film attention. Chris Hemsworth also posted on Instagram to praise the film - a post in which Taika re-grammed with the caption: "some random babe with fine taste". Haha!

RT: Some random babe with fine taste.
