Ryan Reynolds just posted this pic with Wilderpeople's Julian Dennison

It's the cross-over movie fans didn't know they wanted - superhero Deadpool teaming up with Hunt for the Wilderpeople's Ricky Baker? Hell yeah!

Actor Ryan Reynolds posted a picture to his Instagram account today of his Marvel alter-ego giving Kiwi Julian Dennison - who played "bad egg" foster kid Ricky Baker in Wilderpeople - a piggyback ride.

In the caption he teased a future mash-up saying the pair were "[staring] off into our beautiful future together #RickBakerPool #NZ".

Wilderpeople director Taika Waititi reposted the image, saying "Never in my wilderpeoplest dreams would I have imagined this picture existing.  But now it makes more sense than anything else in this crazy, crazy world." Classic Taika.

Marvel's R rated comedy was a huge hit despite its relatively low budget, and production has already started on the sequel.

Fans are now calling for a Deadpool 3 featuring Ricky Baker. More than 200,000 people have liked the post since it appeared on Reynolds' page.
