'Oh my god': Ariana Grande cries on The Ellen Show

Ariana Grande has had an emotionally challenging past few months, with her ex-boyfriend, Mac Miller, dying of an accidental overdose and breaking up with her fiance Pete Davidson. 

So it's not surprising that the pop star has welled up during an appearance on The Ellen Show.

Ariana made her first public performance following the breakup, to perform her new single Thank U, Next, which is written about her exes. 

In some moments throughout her performance, you can see Ariana's eyes welling up as she belts out the personal lyrics. 

Ariana also almost toppled during the performance, with her staggering in her heeled boots while dismounting a chair.
