Multiple fatalities at Ariana Grande concert after two large explosions

Emergency services have rushed to Manchester Arena after reports of two explosions. Greater Manchester Police have confirmed a 22 of fatalities and say 59 people have been injured following reports of explosions at Manchester Arena. 

Video footage showed people fleeing in tears from the venue after reports of explosions at the end of an Ariana Grande concert tonight, according to Daily Mail.

Evie Brewster, who attended the concert, told MailOnline: "Ariana Grande had just finished her last song and left the stage when a huge explosion sounded.

"The explosion sounded like it was inside the building somewhere." 

Jonathan Yates, who was in the audience, said: "As the Ariana Grande concert finished there were bangs like gunshots - it was terrifying; so many people running and crying."

One witness wrote on Twitter: "Just ran from an explosion, genuinely thought we were gonna die."

Another said: "Explosion at Manchester Arena, we were evacuated, a LOT of police here."

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "Police responded to reports of an incident at Manchester Arena. Please stay away from the area. More details to follow."

A British Transport Police spokesman said: "We are aware of an incident at Manchester Arena. We have officers at the scene and will provide further updates as soon as possible."
