Liam Payne's revealed the adorable story behind naming his son Bear

It's been a bit of a tradition for celebs to chose bizarre baby names for their kids: Apple, North and more recently, Liam Payne's wee one was donned Bear. 

But why did Liam and Cheryl name their son Bear you may ask? 

On his latest appearance on The Late Late Show, Liam opened up about the reasoning behind the choice and said: "When he was born, I think one of the midwives said it, he actually has this thing where if they don't have a good cry, they get fluid in their lungs which is quite serious."

He went on to say: "So he was going 'grrr', growling away when he was sleeping, so I had specialists running in and out of the hospital while my missus was asleep and he was being checked over, and they were like, 'Oh, I'm not really sure, we'll get someone else in'." 

And that's how their adorable son was named Bear, that's pretty damn cute!
