Ed Sheeran's Divide is banger after banger, and his hit song Shape of You has been at the top of the charts for seven weeks straight since the release of it in January. But several people have caught on to the fact that the melody is reminiscent of TLC's No Scrubs, arguably the girl group's best song.

Some fans even created their own remixes combining the songs, and the results are incredible!

But it's no coincidence that the song shares a melody, Ed Sheeran's team has added that writers for TLC's No Scrubs to the credits of Shape Of You. This became known when Kandi Burruss posted an Instagram video celebrating that her, and Temeka Cottle (better known as Tiny Harris) are now featured on the song's credits.

Fans are glad that the similarity comes from the writers' own style, as opposed to the pending case against Sheeran claiming copyright infringenent comparing Thinking Out Loud to Marvin Gaye's Lets Get It On.
