‘Clueless’ Musical In The Works? Movie Director Confirms Exciting News

After years of speculation and rumors, it’s finally happening — Clueless: The Musical! Not only did director Amy Hecklering announce her plans to turn her ’90s flick into a Broadway musical, but she also revealed some pretty exciting details about the highly anticipated adaptation.

“I’ve written the, what they call the book and it’s a jukebox musical,” Amy told ET. She also confirmed that Kristin Hanggi will be directing the number! Kirsten is best known for directing Rock of Ages, which ran on Broadway from 2009 to 2015!
