They shocked the world when they announced their separation after eight years of marriage in August.

And Anna Faris is said to be furious after reports emerged that her estranged husband Chris Pratt has been secretly dating actress Olivia Munn, reports OK! Magazine.

A source told the magazine that Chris, 38, and Olivia, 37, have a 'genuine connection'.

They said: 'It started as a convenient rebound but blossomed into something very real and exciting.

'Chris and Olivia have a genuine connection … She and Chris really like each other.

'They both want to see where this goes.'

But Overboard actress Anna, 41, is said to be 'furious' and feel 'betrayed' at the pair's reported relationship.

The source added that Olivia 'wasn't fazed by Anna' and she 'didn't care' what anyone  thinks of the reported relationship.

MailOnline has contacted representatives for Chris, Anna and Olivia for comment.

Anna had previously revealed that  Olivia was her husband's dream woman due to their common interest in eagles on her podcast, Anna Faris is Unqualified, in April 2016.

Oh my God. You're my husband's dream woman. My husband loves eagles. I'm like 'honey, isn't that a little on the nose.'

Anna has since moved on and is dating cinematographer Michael Barrett, who she met on the set of film Overboard.

Olivia and Chris appeared on The Late Late Show back in December 2016 when they spoke about their friendship and revealed they hung out with Anna and Olivia's then beau, NFL player Aaron Rodgers

James said: 'You guys know each other, you're friendly as couples, right

Olivia responded: 'Yes!' We hung out when we were both shooting in Atlanta. Went over to their house. There's fishing, barbecuing. Their son Jack is adorable.

Chris added that he was starstruck by Olivia's boyfriend and said: 'I got nervous, I really wanted (Olivia's boyfriend) to be my friend.'

Last month Chris 'amicably' filed for divorce from his estranged wife in a bid to legally end their marriage, some four months after announcing they had separated.

It was revealed by TMZ that the actor and his estranged spouse have filed legal documents asking for joint custody of their son Jack, five, with their property settlement agreement 'almost completely worked out'.

Anna and Chris announced their split in August, posting a joint statement on Facebook, which read: 'We tried hard for a long time, and we’re really disappointed.'

'Our son has two parents who love him very much and for his sake we want to keep this situation as private as possible moving forward.

'We still have love for each other, will always cherish our time together and continue to have the deepest respect for one another.'
