You read the headline, yup, scientists reckon bras actually make our breasts SAGGIER.  The horror!

Jean-Denis Rouillon is a professor at the University of Franche-Comte and has been studying the effect of bras for the last 15 years.

He says this:

"Medically, physiologically, anatomically - breasts gain no benefit from being denied gravity. On the contrary, they get saggier with a bra."

Some women he studied chose to stop wearing bras, and they had a 7mm lift in their nipples, compared to those who wear bras regularly.

He also claims that bras can limit circulation and make your chest look less toned.

Another doctor, Stafford Broumand, agrees (although wasn't involved with the study) and says:

"For younger women, not wearing a bra will lead to increased collagen production and elasticity, which improves lift in a developing breast."
