Breakups are hard enough but when you're being played with emotionally like this, they're just brutal.
Having left a bouquet of flowers outside his soon-to-be ex-girlfriend’s house, this guy sent her a text instructing her to look on the doorstep.
What accompanied them wasn't what she was hoping for.
Ally’s friend, Georgia Hampshir, posted pictures of the note, the flowers and the text exchange on Twitter, writing: “im actually crying at my friends break up (sic).”
While many saw the funny side, several Twitter users didn’t find the brutal breakup technique very amusing.
Chili Cate wrote: “This a bad way to break up. Unless he/she has betrayed. And that's my opinion.”
Georgia replied: “They had a reason.”
